Fur Babies in Fashion: The Rise of Canine Couture in Luxury Culture
Cullum Turner and Friend for Louis Vuitton Spring 2026
Before launching Luxury Endless, I toyed with a different kind of editorial dream one that barked. Having spent years immersed in fashion publishing, I seriously considered creating a magazine dedicated to dogs and their style. It wasn’t just a passing thought. It was rooted in memory, emotion, and a growing obsession with the four-legged companions who, quite frankly, have become the true muses of modern luxury.
My earliest dog memory is Suzi, a white poodle with champagne-tinted ears. She was elegant, loyal, and entirely devoted to my mother, who lovingly prepared her meals. But my true canine awakening came years later, when my friend Camila adopted Lola a grey Malshi with the kind of charisma that could rival any front-row fashion editor. Lola quickly became my sidekick, attending shoots, fashion shows, and even demanding her own front-row seat to better “focus” on the runway. Her presence is magnetic, her personality unmistakably fashionista. And yes, she has her own Instagram account: @Lolathemalshi.

People often ask if we invented her character for social media. The truth? Lola’s style is innate. She’s opinionated about her wardrobe, preferring quiet luxury tones and turning her nose up at anything resembling a costume. Her fashion credentials are real—she once posed for a Dolce & Gabbana shoot, holding her pose until the final frame, rewarded with a plush Mimmo the Dog toy from the brand itself.
Dogs, like Lola, aren’t just pets. They’re family. Their absence leaves a void in the home, and even dog-sitting for a friend can restore a sense of warmth and joy. Luxury brands have long understood this emotional bond. Dolce & Gabbana, known for their love of animals, were among the first to launch a full canine collection. Their latest addition? Fefè, a fragrance mist for dogs, inspired by Domenico Dolce’s beloved pup of the same name.
Today, nearly every major fashion house is embracing the pet-friendly movement. Moncler Genius collaborates with Poldo Dog Couture to offer quilted coats for stylish pups. Louis Vuitton a pioneer in designer dog carriers continues to expand its pet offerings. Their Spring-Summer 2026 Pre-Collection, curated by Pharrell Williams, celebrates English countryside elegance with a dandy twist, featuring House Ambassador Callum Turner and friend. The brand’s pet-friendly ethos is woven into its DNA, with a full range of accessories and apparel for our furry companions.
Moynat recently launched a vibrant collection of canvas bags for dogs, while Skims by Kim Kardashian unveiled a canine range that—thankfully doesn’t include padded bumps. MyTheresa, the German luxury retailer, now dedicates an entire section to pet fashion, affirming that dogs are no longer accessories they’re icons.
And let’s talk micro bags. Once the subject of social media jokes (“What can you even fit in there?”), they’ve found their purpose among dog mums. Lola, ever the trendsetter, adores micro bags they’re perfect for treats and just the right size for a stylish stroll.
Collars, too, have become status symbols. Take @Pumba_and_simba, the chic dachshunds who split their time between Paris and the French Riviera. Their Messika collars adorned with gold and diamonds are the ultimate expression of canine luxury. These aren’t just accessories; they’re declarations of love, style, and belonging.

The rise of dog fashion isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about emotional resonance. Dogs reflect our moods, our tastes, our lifestyles. They sit beside us in cafés, walk with us through London’s sparkling streets, and if they’re Lola pose like seasoned models under studio lights. They deserve fashion that celebrates their spirit.
At Luxury Endless, we believe dogs are more than companions. They’re muses, influencers, and yes fashionistas. The industry agrees. From couture coats to designer carriers, the luxury world is finally catching up to what dog lovers have always known: our fur babies deserve the best.
So whether it’s a quiet luxury collar, a matching Moncler coat, or a micro bag filled with treats, one thing is clear fashion has gone to the dogs, and we couldn’t be more obsessed.
