There are bags that make a statement and then there’s the Peekaboo Soft. Since its debut in 2009, Fendi’s beloved silhouette has mastered the art of understatement, and this season’s iteration elevates that rare finesse.

Unveiled at the Fall-Winter 2025 show, the medium-sized Peekaboo graces us in glossy hagfish leather; an unexpected material with a natural grain that gives it its uniqueness. The chevron inlay adds a slight movement, while the signature “smile” on the front panel remains intact, soft yet structured.

.Inside, a suede-lined interior offers two compartments divided by a firm partition, with a discreet embossed logo tucked into a leather pocket. A leather-covered aluminium bar ensures surprising lightness, and the gold-finish hardware adds just enough gleam. The iconic twist locks on both sides are a nod to tradition, while the adjustable top handle invites versatility handheld or shoulder, making it suitable to any style or use you may plan for it.

It definitely earns it recognition.
