High Jewellery in Saudi Arabia: Jewels of the World Riyadh & Jeddah 2026
George Hakim
There are countries where jewellery is admired, and countries where jewellery is understood. Saudi Arabia belongs to the latter — a place where craftsmanship is heritage, where stones carry stories, and where the culture of adornment is woven into daily life. This October, the Kingdom becomes a map of brilliance, inviting collectors, travellers and connoisseurs to move between Riyadh and Jeddah, discovering the world’s finest creations in a sequence of exhibitions that feel almost like a pilgrimage.
The journey begins in Riyadh, where Jewels of the World Luxe opened yesterday at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh. Running until 13 October, the event gathers more than 180 international and regional jewellery houses and 35 Haute Horlogerie maisons, presenting high jewellery, heritage pieces, bridal sets and contemporary designs alongside the inaugural Timeology Nights exhibition. It is a celebration of Saudi Arabia’s deep appreciation for jewellery creation a passion recognised internationally.
Among the standout houses, London‑based Moussaieff Jewellers brings its mastery of rare gemstones. The house unveils a breathtaking sapphire and diamond suite, including an oval pendant centred on a 76.22‑carat sapphire, paired with earrings totalling 61.53 carats — pieces that feel almost otherworldly, the kind of jewels that stop time.
George Hakim presents bold high jewellery shaped by a reverence for precious stones and the patient hand of artisans, while Nsouli, one of the Middle East’s largest jewellery manufacturers, showcases rare gems, timeless designs and extraordinary bridal sets a reminder of the region’s love for grandeur and craftsmanship.
Italy arrives with its unmistakable elegance. Pasquale Bruni unveils its 2026 collections inspired by nature, including a new interpretation of the iconic Rosina line a versatile necklace that transforms into a choker, with matching earrings. FerriFirenze displays its haute couture collection White Wonders, a celebration of white diamonds in fluid, enchanting designs. Luca Carati brings Made‑in‑Italy tradition shaped by three generations of goldsmithing, moving gracefully between classic and contemporary. Casato introduces Mikoulette, a red‑carpet evolution of its beloved Mikou collection, illuminated with diamonds, sapphires and emeralds. And Carrera y Carrera presents Orquídeas, where orchids bloom in polished and matte finishes jewels that feel alive.
From Hong Kong, Butani Jewellery shares its legacy of bespoke excellence, while India’s DIVA Jewels presents Marvels of Nature and Le Bouquet, crafted with bird and floral motifs in hand‑carved gemstones, rough diamonds and brilliant‑cut stones.
Then the journey continues west.
From 19–22 October, the final chapter unfolds at the Jeddah Hilton, where Jewels of the World brings its brilliance to the coast. The shift from Riyadh’s urban elegance to Jeddah’s seaside glamour creates a narrative of movement a jewellery trail across the Kingdom, where each city offers its own atmosphere, its own rhythm, its own way of experiencing beauty.
Two cities. Two moods. One country that understands jewellery not as ornament, but as culture. Travelling through Saudi Arabia this month means travelling through brilliance a journey where every stop reveals another facet of craftsmanship, heritage and the timeless desire to adorn life with meaning.
